I am currently beginning my 30th year of teaching. I began in 1992 after graduating from Troy State University with honors. I spent 4 years at Charles Henderson High School, 7 years at Dale County High School and the remaining here at G.W. Long High School. I am married to Tim Ivey. We have 3 boys: Spencer who is a  BioSystems Engineer for Great Southern Wood Products. Seth who is a Lineman for Pea River Electric and married to Claire Ivey. Stetson who is a Lineman for Lee Electrical. I enjoy working outside and camping in my spare time. Our family attends Ozark First Assembly of God Church.
